- Worcester Shrub Hill station was opened on 5th October 1850
- Worcester Foregate Street station was opened on 17th May 1860
- Henwick station was opened on 25th July 1859
- Bransford Road station was opened on 1st September 1860
- Malvern Link station was opened on 25th July 1859
- Great Malvern station was opened on 25th May 1860
- Malvern Wells station was opened on 25th July 1859
On 23rd May 2010, government officials, local councillors and various other dignitaries joined local residents to commemorate and celebrate the 150th anniversary of Worcester Foregate Street and Great Malvern stations.

The line from Worcester to the Malvern stations was originally part of the Hereford & Worcester Railway which then became part of the West Midland Railway, then to become absorbed into the GWR, and on 1st January 1948 became Government owned with the all-new British Rail ![]() |

The line from Great Malvern to Tewkesbury opened on 16th May 1864.

On 11th April 1986, Great Malvern station was severely damaged by fire.

In it’s restoration, British Rail took the opportunity to re-work the station layout, which included a new booking office, waiting rooms and other facilities for rail travellers.
And this image shows the day of the re-opening of the station by the then Chairman of British Rail, Bob Reid.
